Eva Alciati started her Hopkins education in the Chinese immersion program at Eisenhower Elementary embracing the opportunity to learn a second language at an early age. Her dedication and commitment to the program has allowed her to hold fluent conversations and broaden her perspective on the world. In addition to academic achievement, she is a proud member of the Hopkins Alpine team and values the friendships and sense of community she’s built along the way.

Next year, Eva plans to attend the KEDGE business school in France where she will major in international business. She is excited to immerse herself in a new culture, gain global experience, and see the world through a different lens.

Is there a moment or accomplishment you are most proud of?
Something I’m proud of is sticking with the Chinese program all throughout high school. Now, I’m able to use my Chinese and have fluent conversations.

What will you remember most from Hopkins?
Something I’ll never forget from Hopkins was the community it brought me. Also, being in the XinXing program and learning a second language so early on helped me open my eyes to so many new perspectives.

Is there a teacher or staff member who you would like to shout out?
I would like to shout out Mr.Hering for being so motivated everyday to teach his students and being patient to ensure that every student understands. His drive to teach us keeps us wanting to learn more.
