
The Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA) has named Hopkins Superintendent Dr. Rhoda Mhiripiri-Reed as the recipient of the 2026 Kay E. Jacobs Memorial Award. Presented annually to a female administrator who demonstrates exceptional leadership, a strong commitment to students and active involvement in MASA, the award recognizes leaders who make a lasting impact in their districts and across Minnesota. Dr. Mhiripiri-Reed will be honored at the 2026 MASA Spring Conference in March.
Dr. Mhiripiri-Reed leads Hopkins Public Schools with clarity and care, aligning strategy, instruction and operations to best serve students and staff. Under her leadership, the district launched Vision 2031, strengthened rigorous and inclusive instructional practices, expanded innovative programming and successfully passed two bond referendums to enhance school safety and facilities.
