The Hopkins Education Foundation's Royal Bash brought together nearly 300 parents, community members, board members, and district leaders at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley last Saturday -- and the results were remarkable. Through a lively evening of auctions, games, and fun led by emcee Gene Ward, Jr. and auctioneer Karen Sorbo, the event raised over $200,000 to fund Spark Grants for Hopkins classrooms and kickstart a new district special project supporting college and career pathways.
