Happy Indigenous Peoples' Day from Hopkins American Indian Education
Celebrating Indigenous Peoples' Day in Hopkins!
The transition from Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples' Day in Minnesota represents a significant step towards acknowledging past injustices and fostering a sense of pride within Native communities here in our state.
With 149 registered students in the Hopkins Native Group this year, our Indigenous community is incredibly diverse. It’s a space for students to explore and celebrate their heritage, learn their language, and connect with their culture.
Join us in celebrating this meaningful change and the vibrant Indigenous community in Hopkins!
